Content strategy is a tactical and strategic process that focuses on planning, creation, delivery, and governance of content. Plain language and other aspects of crafting content that’s appropriate for the channel are key to content strategy implementation. A content strategy considers all types of information and experiences expressed through a medium, including speech, writing, images, and other forms of art.
A content model is a key deliverable that helps deliver a consistent and continuous user experience within and across channels, enabling content reuse and recombination. It describes how content objects relate to one another within a digital product (e.g. website) and across the customer experience ecosystem (e.g. multiple websites, text programs, apps, social media, help desk, and physical locations).
